During the summer break we had in 2023, me and a close friend decided we wanted to go backpacking. I had recently played a game 'SEASON: A letter to the future' where you travel around a fictional world taking photos and making drawings and felt heavily inspired to do the same.
During this trip, I managed to almost completely fill an A6 sketchbook with notes and photos which document where we went and what we did very well. This sketchbook is now considered one of my most cherished objects.
Our trip took us to Bern, Switzerland, then through Austria to Lesce Bled in Slovenia. From there we went to Venice, Italy for a brief 24 hours before we took a 12-hour train (never again) up to Heidelberg, Germany. We then went to Bruges, Belgium and finished up in Brussels where we took the Eurostar home.

It was a great trip and I drew so much. I took so many photos and videos as well. I continued to make work after the trip from photos and also took the sketches from my book and turned them into zines which I sell on my Etsy. I still remember this trip fondly and would love to do something similar again.

I haven't released my full sketchbook anywhere yet but intend to when I can capture it in higher quality. For now, enjoy the images, paintings and doodles above!.
