Finished book on display at UCA Canterbury.

In March of 2024, I took a week-long solo trip to Reykjavik. During this time I kept a sketchbook where I drew the landscapes, collected photos and made notes from the coach tours or conversations I had.

Being a university student at the time, of course, I had to say this trip was research for my final major project. Very convenient. When I came back home I still had no clue what this was going to become so I started drawing from photos, making a mock zine and then experimenting with risograph prints. Eventually, these risograph prints were edited together with text in InDesign and turned into my final book.

My final book was then exhibited at UCA Canterbury's grad show exhibition for 2 weeks with a collection of objects such as polaroid photos, a jar of black sand, a tourist map and a collection of postal stamps from Reykjavik. I haven't released the full pages anywhere online yet, but until then enjoy the collection of risograph prints above.
